Tessa Tax stores the account, profile, filing, and document information you enter so the application can build your filing workflow and tax estimate.

How it is used

Your information is used to authenticate your account, save your progress, generate tax estimate screens, and move a filing into the internal review state available in this release.

Documents and storage

Uploaded documents are stored with your filing record. Depending on deployment configuration, they may be stored on local disk or object storage.

Cookies and sessions

The application uses secure session cookies for login state and may store a small local browser hint to avoid unnecessary login flashes between page loads.

Your responsibility

Only submit information you are authorized to share, and review the filing estimate carefully before sending it to the internal review queue.
